A Better Process Timer ...
- Time is easily adjustable from 1-99 seconds or 1-99 minutes using discrete position rotary switches. No guessing with potentiometers!
- Easy installation! Simply screw it in place. No electrical wiring with the battery powered models.
- Corrosion proof and waterproof. PVC enclosure and push button are NEMA 4X rated. Built for rugged industrial service.
- Safe: 9-12 volt DC power.
- Batteries last for years before battery replacement is necessary. Plug-in AC adapter is an option if desired. Discussion of batteries vs. plug in power.
- Low profile - extends out from tank only 85 mm.
- Optional relay output up to 16A to control pumps, motors. Convenient connection to your pump with the piggyback plug provided.
- Loud warbling alarm easily cuts through loud industrial plant noise and is easy to locate.

Timer model T1
|
|
|
|
|
|
Built for convenience. There are no wires needed for these timers, just mount them in place. A single button starts and stops the timing cycle.
The time is set easily with rotary switches. Once the time is set, you can close the cover and go. No calibrating is necessary as with timers that use potentiometers to save cost. The time is accurate to within 1%.

Flexible Timing Range Counts down from 1-99 seconds or 1-99 minutes. (select with a switch) During the countdown, the LED flashes so you know its timing.
At the end of a time cycle, the button flashes in a longer pattern, and a 103dB warbling audio alarm sounds until the button is pushed again to stop. Cycle may be cancelled at any time by pushing the button.
Relay Output Add a relay output to control pumps and solenoids. 10A or 16A @240VAC. Simply plug into the piggyback plug or "switchplug" which switches your pump or solenoid.
Timing Modes There are two modes available with model T1 timers

Mode 1 The relay will close during the countdown time, and reset to 'open' when the button is pushed to stop the alarm.
Mode 2 In this mode, the alarm stops and the relay resets to 'open' state at the end of the cycle automatically. The timer beeps for 2 seconds to signal the end of the cycle.

More Operation Modes For a second independently settable time cycle where you want to control devices for a different time than the countdown time, there is model T2-R16. These are often used to control rinse tanks where the solenoid has to stay open for an hour even if the time cycle is only a minute. More information at Rinse Tank Controllers.

Battery or Plug-in Power? The battery life might suprise you: since there is a very tiny current consumption of only a few microamps when idle, the battery will last for years and will provide 50 hours of continuous alarming. A second battery can be installed if even more capacity is needed. In a typical use where the timer alarms 10 times a day the battery will last for about two years. Ultralife Lithium battery is included. Replacements are easily available at stores like Radio shack. Nevertheless, an AC adapter input is available instead at no additional cost if desired. Further discussion.
