THE PIGGYBACK PLUG or "switchplug" is a convenient way to switch power to timers, level alarms, or a footswitch. Simply plug the piggyback plug into the wall and then plug your device into the female end. Power will then be passed through one blade of the plug when switched to "closed".

Piggyback Plugs used in Gizmo Engineering products are rubber covered, type SJOOW. more info (the rubbery flexible type - not the stiff molded plastic kind) It is oil resistant and suitable for outdoor and wet use.

Three 14 gage stranded copper conductors are rated for 15A@120VAC. Length is 10 feet.
