The FLOW ALARM DETECTS LOW FLOW when it is important to know if there is insufficient flow. Its connected in-line with your pump power. When power is supplied to the line, the flow alarm allows a short time window for flow to be detected. If no flow is detected within the (user -settable) time window, the alarm sounds.
Constant monitoring. the Flow Alarm will alarm if there is any period of no-flow during long pump cycles.
Convenient to install with a piggyback plug - your pump plugs into the back of it like a Christmas tree light.
Well suited for pulsing flow from diaphragm pumps that drives most flow sensors nuts - the Flow Alarm is made for this kind of flow.
Lasts for years. The LED lasts for 100, 000 hours. There is no relay chatter - it only switches during an alarm condition.
Because it uses a shuttle type flow switch, the Flow Alarm detects flow or no-flow conditions: it does not make fine distinctions between various flowrates. The Flow Alarm is intended to detect catastrophic failures because this is how pumps usually fail. It does no eliminate the needs for analysis and measurement to pick up drifts in flowrate.
Standard flow range 300ml/min - 6 L/min. Higher flows can be special ordered.
Loud warbling tone cuts through the loudest industrial noise.
Rugged. Built for rough, wet and corrosive environments. NEMA 4X waterproof enclosure.
Suitable for corrosive chemicals. all plastic wetted parts: PVC and polypropylene.
A functional check is simple with the convenient test button.
Protects your pumps from debris with an intake screen.
No passive power drain. The unit is unpowered until the circuit that controls the pump is energized.
