The POPPET CHECK VALVE fits into drum alarms or in-line in pipe to prevent backflow.

Poppet Check Valve

The poppet style check valve is inserted in the bottom fitting of Drum Alarms and will prevent backflow. This eliminates priming for pumps that aren't self-priming. Can also be used in-line in 1/2" piping.

Advantages:

• No metal parts: plastic body and choice of elastomer.

• No springs to corrode.

• Compact: can be inserted in standard 1/2" pipe fittings.

Note: Hypalon has been discontinued by DuPont so these are no longer available. Viton is recommended as a substitute See details here.
